We had an excellent experience with Emily & her team at Make-up Artists Yorkshire. She was flexible with arranging trials and was very responsive & easy to get hold of if we needed to alter any arrangements! She did a gorgeous job of everyone’s hair & makeup on the wedding day, it looked special but not too heavy and still let everyone look their natural selves! It was really lovely to have Emily, Lucy and Rache on the morning of the wedding they were really friendly and made a nice chilled atmosphere which really helped which really helped calm the wedding nerves! All in all I would definitely recommend Make-up Artists Yorkshire!

Anna and Emily were absolutely fantastic on my wedding morning and I cannot recommend them enough for your bridal hair and makeup. They were also just lovely to have around on quite a nerve wracking morning.
“me- but on my best day… I’ve never felt so beautiful!”
My brief to Emily was to look like me- but on my best day! I wanted to feel like myself and like my normal style but wanted that extra WOW that can only come from a professional! When it comes to beauty i’m so clueless, so it’s difficult to talk make-up when you don’t understand but Em was amazing and took the time experimenting with styles and reviewing references and feedback until we cracked the finished look and boy was it perfect! I’ve never felt so beautiful in all my life!
I now have a greater understanding of make up and have invested in some key products that I use when going out to make my look a little more glam.
Emily, Anna and laura also did the hair and make-up for my 6 bridesmaids and listened carefully to their individual briefs as i wanted them all to feel comfortable in their look for the day.
I can’t recommend them enough, they made the morning of the wedding such a relaxing and fun experience, put us all at ease and made everyone look and feel amazing.

“I’d never felt so comfortable in my own skin..”
From booking to the big day, Make-up Artists Yorkshire provided a great service. Communication was great, even pre ordered a lipstick for touch ups on the day to keep with me! It was honestly like having another friend there with us on the morning, everything was very calm. My hair and makeup, along with the bridesmaids was absolute perfection, I’d never felt so comfortable in my own skin and it stayed out all day and evening!! We didn’t have a trial, due to distance but it honestly didn’t matter as i had a variety of ideas and wasn’t too rigid on the look i was going for. 100% happy, can’t wait for the photo’s to be ready for viewing!! I was nervous getting my hair and makeup done for the wedding as i’d never had this done before. From the first moment of talking with Emily I immediately felt at ease. It was clear she was listening to what I wanted and how I normally wore my hair and makeup. I completed a trial which was so valuable in working out what I did and didn’t want. We also had hair and makeup for my mum and three bridesmaids, they all looked so beautiful and were so happy with their hair and makeup. We had such a fun morning getting ready with Emily and Anna, our hair and makeup lasted all day and i felt like a glam version of myself. I highly recommend Make-up Artists Yorkshire and I’m so glad Emily and Anne were there to get me ready for my big day.

Emily took over the booking for my wedding when Anna went on maternity leave and made the process hassle free. We exchanged photos of my preferred hair and make-up style and I had a lovely weekend in York with my mum for our trial with Emily. Emily was always so lovely and friendly, she was quick to get back to me with answers to any questions I had. She was also kind enough to give me a second hair trial. Emily organised 2 other artists for my bridal party. and provided a timeline for the morning, which made it very relaxed and we were all ready on time.
I had so many lovely comments on my hair and makeup and felt incredible all day. I really appreciate all the time and effort Emily put in to make me feel amazing on the day.

Emily and Carly did an amazing job for my bridal and bridesmaids hair and make-up for our wedding at Bunny Hill in march. The trial was great and Emily gave me lots of good advice and helped me to decide what I wanted for the day. Anna and Emily did the hair and makeup at my wedding for me and my bridal party, ranging from my 84 year old mother in law to a 7 year old bridesmaid… and all of us in-between. The results were perfect. They understood what we wanted and every look was pitched perfectly. Not only that, they great company and helped to create a wonderfully relaxed fun morning getting ready. “MAY did such an amazing job styling my hair and make-up for my wedding”
I’m not one for the minimal bridal look and wanted a fair bit of definition, especially on my eyes. They listened to my request and created exactly what I had been hoping for, with some really luxurious make-up. The highlight for me was the airbrushing! They took there time to try out a few different options during the trial, so I was able to pick the option that I liked the most and on the day they definitely did not disappoint. They were friendly, professional and fun to have there on my wedding morning. Thank you MAY!
